4. How is the Miami Hypnosis Center different from other hypnosis practitioners?

1. What is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a relaxed state of heightened awareness and focused concentration, in which your imagination is enhanced, and you can more easily learn new information. It's safe and natural, and you experience it many times every day, perhaps when daydreaming, when enjoying a good movie or book, or immersed in an enjoyable task.

Despite what you may have seen in movies or a stage show, hypnosis is NOT mind control, sleep, or scary in any way. You cannot get "stuck" in hypnosis, and you cannot be made to say or do anything against your will. You are usually aware of everything that occurs, you are always in control, and anyone who wants to be hypnotized can be hypnotized. In fact, all hypnosis is really self-hypnosis, and a hypnotist guides you into this state and helps you to make the positive changes that you want. It's physically relaxing and generally very enjoyable.

2. Does it really work?

Yes! It really does work quite well for many people. There are a lot of factors that determine how successful each person will be, which is why we give everyone a free initial screening.

When you come in for your screening and read our clients’ success stories, realize that these testimonials and those on this website reflect only the experiences of the specific clients in the testimonials and results vary. A typical client may experience many different types of results, including possibly no results whatsoever. The clients in the testimonials have followed the program as instructed. Because much of our business depends on client referrals, rest assured that our goal is to do whatever we can do to help you succeed. Again, this is one of the reasons we do a free screening.

3. How many sessions will it take and what do you charge?

It depends on many factors and will be determined at the free initial screening. All of our programs consist of multiple sessions and are custom-tailored to meet each client's personal situation and goals, so we determine the program's structure and one-time fee at the end of the free initial screening.

Obviously, it would be silly to call up a dentist and expect him to tell you how much it would cost to fix a toothache, since a toothache is a symptom that could have several causes. In the same way, resolving your specific issue may require any number of approaches.
Only when we meet with you in person can we fully evaluate your situation and explain what would be required for you to get the results you want. Most hypnotists will charge you for this type of appointment. But at the Miami Hypnosis Center, your initial visit is free.

If we determine that you are a good candidate for hypnosis, and you decide to proceed with your program, we accept cash, check, credit, or debit. We do not accept insurance.
